Fred Landers – 6’5 Jr Post/Wing – FTL University: His size would dictate that he play the wing, but he has by the far the best post moves of any prep player in the state. Landers plays much bigger than his size both on the block and battling bigger players for rebounds. He will need to revamp his jumper over the next year to reach a higher level in his recruitment.
Vince Dillard – 6’5 point guard – Lake Brantley: Dillard is a tall point guard with good vision and passing skills. Though thin, he absorbs contact well when getting to the basket and finishes more often than not. Dillard also showed he could score when necessary and knocked down several contested jumpers.
Luis Jacobo – 6’5 wing – Winter Springs: Jacobo is a natural scorer. Though he doesn’t appear to be a good ball-handler he consistently gets to the rim and finishes. He’s a very good shooter from behind the arc when given room and his ability to score from mid-range is improving.
Quentin Bastian – 6’6 post – Oldsmar Christian: More like a bull in a china shop, Bastian doesn’t often look pretty but gets it done inside. Maybe the most impressive thing was he went right at Patrick Young and while he didn’t win the war, he did win a few battles.
Terral Merritt – 6’1 Jr guard – Orlando Christian Prep: One of the surprises of the weekend, Merrit is quick and fast to the hole. He finishes well at the basket, knocks down open jumpers, and made some nice passes to teammates for scores.
Dominique Williams – 6’3 Jr guard – Haines City: On Saturday he spent too much time lofting threes with less than stellar results. On Sunday he played much better, mixing perimeter shots with better results and drives to the rim that often resulted in trip to the foul line.
Casey Oldemoppen – 6’7 post – Martin County: While not the most athletic player at the event, he’s a savvy insider that rebounds well and makes positive plays. Oldemoppen knocked down open jumpers along the baseline and passed well to cutters from the post.
Solomon Poole – 6’1 Frosh guard – Jacksonville Providence: Certainly one of the top freshmen in the state, he more than holds his own against older, taller, and stronger players. He’s got a great attitude, mental toughness, and a solid perimeter stroke.
Jonathan Holton – 6’7 Jr wing – LaSalle: Holton has length, athletic ability, and talent. He just needs to use it more often. He’s too content to launch threes. On the plus side, he can guard multiple positions as on two successive possessions he found himself guarding the opposing point guard and stripped him off the dribble, taking the ball the other way for two highlight jams.
Marek Legorcee-Ross – 6’4 wing – Montverde Academy: Marek knows what his coaches want and does his best to deliver. He’s a smart player that knocks down open shots and is a reliable ball-handler against the press.
Michael Avery – 6’3 Soph point guard – Montverde Academy: A one-time commitment to Kentucky, Avery is a move-in from California. He may not look athletic but he dunked on people more than once this weekend. Avery is a solid shooter and ball-handler that is doing well in learning a new position.
Darius Hall – 6’3 wing – Port Orange Atlantic: Hall plays bigger than his size did a lot to fill up the stat sheet. He hit threes, scored on drives to the rim, got on the offensive glass, made a couple of steals and proved to be a solid help-side defender.
Brandon Channer – 6’3 Soph guard – Blake: This lefty finishes with either hand at the rim while absorbing contact. He’s a good athlete with a strong frame and not a bad shooter. One thing Channer needs to work on is moving without the ball as he too often stood in one place on the offensive end without it.
Kendall Leeks – 6’4 Jr wing – Marianna: A surprise from the Panhandle, Leeks had a solid set of games. He crashed the offensive glass, scoring his share of points that way. Leeks also had a nice baseline drive for a bucket and his outside shot must be respected.
Travis Fletcher – 5’8 Soph point guard – North Marion: Fletcher is a quick point guard that passes well and pushes the pace. He’s an okay shooter from deep but is inconsistent.
Kiplin Fowler – 6’3 guard – South Florida Prep: He was at his best from fifteen feet and in. Fowler was a tiger on the glass, especially at the offensive end.
Karlos Odum – 6’5 Frosh forward – Tenoroc: The young Odum proved to be a good athlete. He ran the floor well and finished at the basket.
Travis Shapiro – 5’8 point guard – Orlando Faith Christian: Shapiro was one of the best shooters from behind the arc at the event. He’s also a good ball-handler and pushes the pace in transition.

Cody Fobbs – 5’10” point guard – Palm Beach Lakes: Fobbs was one of the best shooters from behind the arc at the event. He’s also a good ball-handler and pushes the pace in transition. Ran the pick in roll very well.
