Angel Rodriguez is visiting Kansas State

Angel Rodriguez, a 5′11 guard from Dr. Michael Krop High School in Miami, Fl, is visiting Coach Frank Martin and the Kansas State Wildcats this weekend. Rodriguez will be visiting Manhattan, Kansas during their annual “Madness in Manhattan” event to be showcased on ESPNU.

During his time at Dr. Krop, Rodriguez has gained himself many accolades, including being named as a First Team All State 6A Selection and has put up multiple outputs of 30 plus points. Last season, Rodriguez led his Dr. Krop squad to a 26-6 record and a trip to the state Final Four where Rodriguez put up 23 points and 8 rebounds in a loss to Orlando’s Dr. Phillips in Lakeland.

Kansas State will be the first of three visits that Rodriquez plans to take. After leaving Kansas State, Rodriquez will continue his tour of visits on October 22nd and 23rd and visit Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinal program. Following his time at Louisville, Rodriquez will make his final visit on October 29th and 30th to the Raleigh, North Carolina and NC State Wolfpack program.
