Temple University received great news on September 26th when it scored a commitment from its top target, Anthony Lee. Lee, a 6’9 forward who transferred to West Oaks academy for his final prep season, exploded onto the radar of national college programs after playing with Nike Team Florida this spring and summer.
Anthony, who visited VCU on September 4th and planned to also visit George Mason, USC and Kansas State, chose Temple over other programs such as Boston College, Seton Hall, Ole Mass, Georgia, Nevada, Tulane and Washington.
Lee had this to say about his visit and why he decided on Temple:
“I love the coaches and the system, at Temple. They play a motion offense, which will allow me to play inside and out. I loved the family atmosphere, and I also liked coach Dunphrey. Coach Dunphrey is a real advocate in the community and it is one of my goals to be involved in the community.”
