Jason Pimentel, a 6’8 forward from Montverde Academy, will be taking the first of his five official visits this weekend. Pimentel transferred to Montverde Academy from Ocala Trinity, where he averaged a 20 points and 10 rebounds, leading his team to the second round of regional’s and earning the Ocala Star-Banner boys basketball player of the year.
Jason is playing his final prep season at Montverde Academy, which will help prepare him for the rigorous day to day college schedule.

He will be totally prepared for the next level, as his work ethic continues to improve and his game continues to improve. He is a division one basketball player. “
Old Dominion University will be the first of Pimentel’s stops this fall. Jason played on the summer circuit for the Florida Rams Black travel basketball program, helping him earn offers from Old Dominion, Richmond, Stetson, Rider, Tennessee Tech, East Carolina, and UNC Wilmington. He also plans to visit Wake Forest, and set up the rest of his official visits at a later date.
