Kaleb Clyburn, a heady senior point guard from the prestigious Montverde Academy basketball program, has made his college decision. Clyburn, who led the Eagles to a 23-5 record, and a #5 national ranking, while averaging 10 points and 8 assists, chose the University of Delaware over offers from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, and Charleston Southern.
Kaleb Clyburn, had this to say about deciding on the University of Delaware: “I feel like I can have a huge impact as a freshman, the team as well as the university welcomed me with open arms. It felt like a family. I felt a connection with the coach as well as the players. I also feel like UD will give me a great opportunity on and off the court, it is a great place for my future.
Kevin Sutton, Head Coach of Montverde Academy, had this to say about Kaleb: “I am very happy and proud of Kaleb! He has worked very hard to put himself into a position to earn his scholarship! Our success this year is due in large part to Kaleb’s leadership.
