Quentin Bastian Is Off The Board

Quentin Bastian, a 6’6, 225 pound athletic forward, is off the board. Bastian, who visited Coppin State, and Lander (a division II school in South Carolina), decided he wanted to spend his next four years at Lander.

Bastian, who played on the summer circuit with Florida Elite, and during the high school season with Oldsmar Christian, is a hard-nosed blue collar basketball player. Quentin is a big time rebounder, and uses his size and strength to play a very physical game. Bastian averaged a double-double in points and rebounds for his high school team this season.

Bastian said: “I chose Lander because I felt really comfortable with the teachers and coaching staff, and the overall campus environment. I also really liked the fact that Head Coach Jeff Burkhamer is a winning coach. So overall, Lander, to me, is like a home away from home.”
