Shane Larkin is headed to the Big East. Larkin, a 6’0 guard from Orlando Dr. Phillips, averaged 19 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.4 steals, earning a first team selection for the All Central Florida area by the Orlando Sentinel, and first team all state for class 6A. Shane led his team to a 23-6 record, a district championship, a regional championship, and an appearance at the state championship game.

Shane continued to dominate on the national scene, including a 55 point outburst where he connected for 13 three pointers, at the Breakdown Hoopsfestival, playing for Coach Diana Neal and the Florida Assault program. His play in the high school season and on the summer circuit earned him offers from Boston College, DePaul, Colorado, South Florida, George Mason, UCF, Clemson, and VCU.

Larkin committed to DePaul, after taking official visits to Colorado University on September 18th, University of South Florida on September 24th, DePaul University on September 27th, Boston College on October 2nd, and George Mason on October 15th.
