Steve Moundou-Missi, a 6’7 senior forward from national power house Montverde Academy, has trimmed his list of colleges down to three. Missi was a starting forward for the Eagles last season, helping them finish the season ranked fifth in the country by Rise Magazine. Montverde Academy also recorded an overall record of 23-5, and an appearance in the championship game of the National High School Invitational, where they lost to Findlay Prep 59-46.

Kevin Sutton, Head Coach of Montverde Academy had this to say about Steve Moundou-Missi – “Steve is a tremendous representative of my program: quality person, outstanding student and a high major talent. he is in his second year as a member of the judicial counsel. He is a high honor roll student and a top returning player on a very good team. Steve has worked hard in his three years at Montverde Academy. I am honored to be Steve’s coach.” -

Steve has previously taken official visits to Harvard and the University of Iowa, and plans on visiting Brown this weekend. After he visits Brown, he plans on making his college decision. “I am looking for a good basketball program, and a good academic school, with a good engineering department. Engineering is what I want to major in.” – Steve Moundou-Missi on what he is looking for in a college program.
