Steve Moundou-Missi, a 6’7 senior forward is headed to the Ivy league. Steve who plays for Montverde Academy, a traditional top 25 high school team in the country, was down to Harvard, Brown and Iowa.

Moundou-Missi helped lead the Montverde Academy Eagles to a 23-5 record and to the championship game of the National High School Invitional as a junior last season. Steve had taken official visits to all three of his finalist, and committed to Harvard today.  Steve previously said “I am looking for a good basketball program, and a good academic school, with a good engineering department. Engineering is what I want to major in.”

“I chose Havard because it is a great combination of academics and athletics. The school offers one of the best, if not the best education in the world and the basketball program is on the rise. The determining factor was the fact I really feel comfortable with the coaching staff and the players. I think it is the right place for me.” – Steve Moundou-Missi, on why he choose Harvard.
